Absinthe v2.0.4 Support iPad 2,4 On iOS 5.1.1 Now Available
Previous Absinthe v 2.0.2 was able to jailbreak the new release iOS 5.1.1 build 9B208 that has been released by Apple only for iPhone 4 GSM but this time Pod2g & Chronic Dev Team have updated Absinthe to v2.0.4 in order to support iPad 2,4.
Absinthe v2.0.4 untethered jailbreak 5.1.1 now support the following devices
- iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad2,4 iPad 3,
- iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S
- iPod touch 3rd generation, iPod touch 4th generation

i cant seem to get absinthe to download to my computer. i run windows and when i click the like to download for windows another window pops up asking if i want to save but when i click save, nothing happens. can anyone help with this?
I just tried to jailbreak my ipad 2 (GSM). It showed ‘could not connect to lockdown aborting’ but cydia was installed so was installous its even downloading apps successfully..so can there be any problem?? what was the error about and should i try to jailbreak again??

iPad 2 R2 is not supported. The latest release seems to work on everything EXCEPT for the iPad 2 R2. Just my luck, the model I have is the only thing now not able to be JB.

How come I download Abs in my mac and once it finishes to download and I go to open it it does NOT open! and gives me a warning saying something about “abs is a application downloaded from the internet am I sure I want to open it” and when I still click open it does not open. I have jailbroken my IPOD successfully. After rebooting, most of icons including camera, Appstore, maps, notes, etc. have been lost. Also Cydia icon is not there.
When I tried to re do jail break, the system tells that the device is already jailbroken.
Please need urgent help how to salvage this?

im having a really hard time trying to jailbreak my iphone 4s verison 5.1.1 i downloaded the Absinthe v 2.0.4 and its getting stock on a file that haves 2 differnt files one says readme and the other says Absinthe-win-2.0.4zip and when i open the Absinthe file it gets stock on a black box that says a whole bunch of codes and dashes and other things and doesnt say or do anything else ??? what am i doing wrong please help?….
