  2. Scott says:

No website should EVER promote piracy. By reporting on this and offering a tutorial, you are promoting theft. Technically, I’d consider you an accessory to the crime if I was a developer with ANY app in the App Store…

Why many people hate apple store? Because every thing need to pay. Before this I use whatsapp now I can’t use and must pay to use it in apple store after I up grade iOS 6. Why? Whatsapp is free app what I need to pay? Why apple store push user like me to pay? Other device like Samsung or any adroid no need to pay to use whatsapp … I hate apple store. I have no choise and I want to sell my iphone to buy Samsung hp. Better than apple. Fuck apple.

  15. mcbeav says:

That’s the most ridiculous statement i have ever read. You have no clue how app development works. Typically, app developers prefer to be compensated for the work that they do. Especially if there is more time and effort needed to push updates to the app. People do not like to work for free. The iPhone is a very profitable platform for app developers. Piracy is only available to those who can jailbreak their phones, which is a very small percentage of the population. On the flip side, Android is not nearly as profitable for an app developer. I know of developers that have given up on trying to release paid for apps on the platform because piracy is so rampant. In order to sideload an app, all you need to do is check a setting on Android. Also, typically Android users do not like to pay for apps, this is the general demographic of Android users, ( i know this from being a phone salesman. ) Apple does not pressure or force developers to charge for their applications. Edumicate yourself

I bet you work for free at your job, don’t you. You just volunteer all of your time for free and sleep in the streets and eat from the garbage?

  17. Swtor Zhaf says:

  20. amir says:

Are these alternative program work on ios 6.1 ?

  21. nykk says:

I buy apps and games to support devs, but also want to see apps without buying em 1st too.

  22. Bradley says:

You make a great point. The people below are just a bunch of plebeians who are in denial, blinded by stupidity. Jailbreaking is not illegal, but this site dedicated to jailbreaking is advertising a repository that redistributes copyrighted software, and that IS illegal. This is exactly like using uTorrent to download .torrent files. There’s absolutely nothing illegal about that. But the second you get something off Piratebay that normally costs money, you’re breaking the law.

  23. AppleGeek says:

All these alternatives work on iOS 6.1
vShare is using identical resources as installous so it is basically the same but different interface.
I prefer Appcake, it has such a nice interface you will not miss installous much

  24. Crisis says:

Good job Scott. You are getting a lot of attention. Must feel good.

  26. Khalid Muhaisen (Jordan - MidlleEast) says:

    by the way..
HipStore is good, but some people said that they cant sync any app they downloaded with HipStore with iTunes.

If you like the HipStore app and need to fix the syncing issue here is what you have to do

1- download iFunBox for windows or mac or whatever you are using
    2- Run it
3- go to User Application (you will find it at the left side)
4- RIGHT click on any app and select (backup as .ipa package)
5- select a folder to save the package to
6- do this to as many apps as you want
7- go to the folder where you saved these apps and double click on them ONE by ONE (wait for each app to appear in iTunes before you click on another app)
8- SYNC .. confuckingratulations you are done =)
I really hope i helped any body with this.

  27. John A says:

Thanks Khalid: that worked perfectly (I’d downloaded the apps using vShare but had the same sync problem) – much appreciated!

  28. Echo K says:

Many third party App stores, like cydia for example, allow developer to sell their apps that apple won’t allow on the stock app store. The same goes for free apps that devs want out there but Apple won’t allow on their app store.
Therefore this side is not advocating piracy. QED

  29. Oh man fuck you and fuck all Your shit. Scott Your a real piece of paper whom should be throwed into a trash cane

  30. FuckScott says:

Vshare sucks ass. I haven’t tried the others. Most of the alternates to installous don’t even work, or they send you to an endless “take this survey to download” bullshit. The people who do that shit should all choke to death.

I simply want to mention I’m very new to blogging and site-building and really liked this blog site. Likely I’m want to bookmark your blog . You definitely come with excellent stories. Regards for sharing your website.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

  33. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Chrome. Superb Blog!

  34. This design is steller! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  35. Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on this blog loading? I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  36. Hi! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

  37. Hey there! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I really enjoy reading your articles. Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same subjects? Thank you so much!

  38. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Fantastic work!

  39. Please let me know if you’re looking for a author for your site. You have some really great articles and I feel I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really like to write some content for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please shoot me an e-mail if interested. Cheers!

  40. Superb post however , I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this subject? I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit further. Thank you!

  41. Hi! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could locate a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!
