Apple Could Sell 40 Million iPad Mini in One Year Generating $10 Billion – Why does Apple need to build a completely new budgeted iPad mini for the low end users? We have already posted many different reasons for this. One of these was the growing market of Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire. Currently, Apple is the King of tablet market by selling more than 84 million units. It holds 68% of the whole tablet market among all Android and Windows Phone tablet. But Google has done an amazing job by releasing Nexus 7 for just $199. It gained so much popularity that the search engine company is running out of 16GB tablets.
Behind different reasons, how iPad will increase the revenue of Apple, recently RBC Capital analyst Amit Daryanani said that the fruit company could sell more than 40 billion iPad mini in the first year generating revenue of $10 billion. In other terms, it will increase the $1.15 a share in Apple’s profit. So, iPad mini will be as much popular product as iPhone and iPad.
Many report and analysts suggest that Apple will hold the big event on 12th September where it will introduce the complete new iPhone 5, iPad mini and redesigned iPod Touch. But one thing which I assume is that if Apple will introduce a low end iPad mini, it will kill the iPod Touch market by its own hands. So, the other option is that Apple will probably further decrease the price of iPad 2 just as they did with iPhone 3Gs.
What do you think? Do you want an iPad mini? Do you want Apple to release a budgeted iPad?
