If you still remember, Apple used to introduce the iPhone in the summer, like iPhone 3G was introduced on July 2008, similarly iPhone 3Gs in June 2009 and the redesigned iPhone 4 was introduced in June 2010 however, surprisingly, Apple changed its device Cycle and instead of introducing iPhone 4S in summer, it was released at the end of fall 2011.

Most of the rumors suggested that Apple will announce iPhone 5 in the October 2012 but this blog has claimed for the release of iPhone 5, 2 months earlier than the expected date.

A reliable industry source who wishes to remain anonymous revealed to Know Your Mobile that Apple’s highly-anticipated and much-rumored iPhone 5 will be launched via a keynote speech on August 7.
The new date correlates with reports from earlier in the month the iPhone 5′s release had been brought forward from October to August.
iPhone 5 is expected to game changer for whole mobile industry. Many analysts suggest that it will be redesigned and will have a slightly larger display than the Apple’s current iPhone 4S. More over other rumors also suggest the NFC chip, improved processor and the world’s most advance Mobile OS, iOS 6.
An early report also suggests that if Apple will introduce iPhone 4 in the summer of 2012, it will face the low sales because most of the users will already have ongoing contract. Due to which they won’t be able to purchase the next gen iPhone via contract.

I don’t mind when it’s released, I dont have my iPhone on contract as contract = paper trail with your name and details. I rock pay as you go, mobile companies dont hold my name/address/dob etc on pay as you go, so the iPhone 5 can come whenever, however I’m still happy with my iPhone 4. So i didnt upgrade to the 4S… I may upgrade to the 5, but no on release. Who knows maybe after xmas depending on what iphone 5 brings, iphone 4 to 6 upgrade may be better for me.
