Apple Sold 9.3 Million iPhones By Top-3 U.S Carrier in Q3 - It has been just a barely a couple of months since Apple launched the highly-anticipated iPhone 5 with a 4-Inch Retina screen, A6 processor and a better 8 MP camera and it is already ruling the charts. The top-3 carriers in the US: AT&T, Verizon and Sprint have released their Q3 earning reports and as expected, the iPhone 5 has contributed a lot to their revenues. These top-3 carriers sold a total of 9.3 Million iPhones.

AT&T sold the highest number of iPhones despite the supply constraints and had a great quarter with $31.5 in revenues. AT&T sold 4.7 Million iPhones in Q3 2012.

Verizon also had an impressive Q3 having $29 Billion in revenues. Verizon sold a total of 3.1 Million iPhones, though surprisingly only 651K of them were iPhone 5s.

Sprint was the last to announce its Q3 earnings and reported Q3 revenue of $7.3 Billion. It was the only of the top-3 that had a bad quarter with $767 Million in net loss. Sprint sold a total of 1.5 Million iPhones.

Apple will be announcing its financial results for September quarter today, so we will finally know about how much more money it has added to its already big chest of money.
