Apple will drop iPhone 3GS while iPhone 4S with 8GB storage will be released – As we have already posted that Apple has officially announced the release date of iPhone and we all are waiting for the iPhone 5 and the September 12 to get some exciting news from the fruit company. According to dozens of rumors, iPhone 5 will be thinner, larger and will surely have the LTE technology. But another important question is that, what Apple will do with its already present iPhone 4S, 4 and 3GS?
The Telegraph from UK has posted some interesting news about iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4S. The main thing is that it also makes some sense. Apple will release an 8 GB model of the iPhone 4S and will sell it on the current price of iPhone 4, $99 only. However, iPhone 4 will be sold free of cost. But currently, free iPhone 3GS will be out of the league.
Here’s what the Telegraph posted:
“The new update will mean that the 8GB version of the iPhone 4 will be the entry-level iPhone, probably given away free on £20 per month contracts, as the 3GS is currently. Sources close to retailers also suggested that an 8GB version of the 4S could be introduced.”
With this reliable source, we are still thinking that Apple really cares about its consumers that it has rolled out iOS 6 for three years old iPhone 3GS. However, the publisher from Telegraph has also confirmed that iPhone internal storage will be as it is. It will be released in three models 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB.
