Just immediately after restoring to iOS 6.1 and jailbreak untethered, I re-installed all my apps, connected to the internet. Within minutes, badge of 17 updates showed up on my App Store icon. This means that I have apps that needs to be updated.

Immediately I launched the App Store app, clicked Updates and waited for 5 minutes only to be greeted with a blank white update screen.
