Check Your iPhone May Not Have Turned Off Do Not Disturb Settings -Didn’t get New Year greetings today on your iPhone? No, you have not become a forever alone all of a sudden and you can blame it on iOS as all of the credit for this goes to a new iOS bug. iOS 6 introduced a new nifty little future dubbed “Do Not Disturb” that lets you turn off notifications and have some peace from the continuous flow of notifications from Twitter, Messaging, Mail, etc. Used that feature last night? Well, a new glitch has just been found that may have prevented your iPhone from turning it off.
Check Your iPhone May Not Have Turned Off Do Not Disturb Settings
The first day of New Year has started with a lot of users resorting to MacRumors and Whirlpool forums to report about this bug. Not all iOS users have been affected by this but the number of affected ones is big enough for catching our eye. So you are still receiving all those calls, messages, tweets, mails but the iPhone just doesn’t let them popup in the Notification Center.
Apple hasn’t officially released a fix for it but we are expecting it to come with the next iOS update. Meanwhile, you can fix it by manually disabling and re-enabling Do Not Disturb from the Settings app. Yeah, its simple enough but if you didn’t know that Do Not Disturb turned on, then you would certainly feel pretty disturbed for not getting any New Year greetings from your best pal.
