Hello. i have a problem after have jailbroken my iphone 4s ios 5.1.1, itunes wont sync and gives error 0xE8000012 . i don’t find any useful topic by searching on google. the phone was fully restored via the phone settings before the jailbreak, and only cydia and installous were installed.of course the jailbreak was succesful. any idea of what the matter is and how can i solve it?
i have the same problem and my computer got whiped so i dont wanna loose eerything
Can you remove the jailbreak on an iPad2 or is it a one-way thing?
I think the only way to remove a jailbreak from an iPad is to restore it.
and how to restore it? i tried different ipsw’s for my ipad 2 wifi + 3G but it won’t work. ipsw’s — “iPad2,2_6.0.1_10A523_Restore”, “iPad2,2_5.1.1_9B206_Restore”, and “iPad2,3_5.1.1_9B206_Restore” but it won’t work on my ipad wifi + 3G setup with my ios6.0.1…

will there be an update for absinthe to work with the new version of 5.1.1 that apple have release….
I backed up my iPad 1 in iTunes and followed the readme.txt file to install Absinth from my MacBook Pro. All seemed to go well until I ran Cydia the first time. Its icon disappeared and I couldn’t ssh into the iPad at it’s IP address on my network. Got a host is down error.
I tried Reset -> Erase All Contents and Settings to try to start over and the iPad hung with a spinning icon. It would do nothing until I let the battery run all the way down, then restarted it. The icons in the Dock were gone. No Safari, Mail, Maps, Contacts, or Calendar.
I restored from the backup again, but they’re still gone.
I’ve reset the Desktop on the iPad and they’re still gone.
Absinth won’t run on it because it detects a “stash”.
iTunes says my device isn’t eligible when I use the Restore button.
Where do I go from here? Wait for 5.1.2?

I have virus barrier and I have gift Absinthe 2.0.1 Access but I can’t open the program when I try to open Absinthe 2.0.1 icon it’s not open…,

It’s your fault dumbass..it’s your responsibility … They are not reponsilbe whatever happened to your iphone or whatever iDevice you have.Don’t blame them.. They have done a great and hard job. You should thank them..they worked so hard to create this awesome jailbreak..they spent almost there days on that. So show some respects for them.. Oh yeah almost forget to tell you.. fuck you!!!
iPhone 4 running 4.12.01 / iOS 5.1.1 No service .
I have downloaded and installed the UltrasnOw fix, which I read would fix the No Service, but it has not.
I have a new micro sim from Tmobile in the phone now, the sim was operational when I left the Tmobile store (according to the Tmobile rep).
Any other suggestions?
This was the order I did things:
1. reset to factor settings.
2. restored newest iOS 5.1.1
3. ran absinthe
4. ran cydia and did all requirement according to this website.
5. installed the Rocky Racoon
6. added “http://repo.iparelhos.com
7. downloaded and installed ultrasn)w fix
8. and still No Service
Hello. I Jailbroke my “The New iPad” and it worked splendidly. Problem is I have a regualar app that does not work on my jailbroken iPad. I need this app for work and therefore need to return my iPad back to its original state. I tried running the “Erase all contents and settings” from settings/general. The little rotating sunburst icon appears in the center of the screen and does not go away. To end the process I had to hold down the iPads reset and power button simultaneously. Can you please advise on how to unjailbreak. Very much appreciated.

I Jailbroke it with Absinthe , every thing went fine until I tried to restore my backup from iTunes , it shows to me that the backup is not compatible or corrupted !
is there anyway to get back to my backup ?!

Thank You for your efforts on the 5.1.1 jailbreak untethered with 2.0.4, However I’m having a problem hence this comment.
The problem is simply I can’t X out or delete any Icons (apps) on my Iphone 4S OS 5.1.1. on both the DOCK and the Page, the icons and page freezes, just now I noticed that if left untouched, meaning (no Power+Home Key, Restore etc etc) the phone goes back to the LS then I unlock it and everything is normal Except that the ICON I wanted to delete is still there.
Please Advice, and again much appreciate of your work, all the way from Canada.

when I tried to jailbreak iOS 6 beta 3 on my iPhone 3GS with redsnow 0.9.13dev3 (on windows) I am blocked on pineapple logo; if I set -v args the last command I get is “corecrypto.kext post passed!!” and than I remain stuck.
I event try it twice with the same problem.
How can I fix it?

I have just jailbroken my iPhone 4S using the latest Absythe tool. Cydia is giving me errors and I cannot install anything. I’m getting cannot comply, modification errors. I’ve restored and jailbroken again but still not working. Hmm maybe I was better off without jailbreaking.
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

iphone 4s with 6.0.1. Jailbroke with evasion 1.1 with no problems. Everything worked, downloaded winterboard, ringtones, etc. When I tried to change a theme on winterboard and went through the respring, Cydia disappeared and winterboard app is only on setting page. I did a Reset on 4s and updated to 6.1. I reperformed the jailbreak agian with evasion 1.1, downloaded winterboard, ringtones,group text, etc. and when I changed something and had to respring the same thing happened agian. Cydia is missing and winterboard is only in settings. Codethemed app is still there. Help????
