I updated to iOS 6 and when it goes to the activation part it tells me my UDID isn’t registered. So i followed the steps above and did everything but when itunes goes to extract the file it says the firmware may be corrupt. Please disconnect and reconnect and try again. I clicked on more info and it told me error 1403. Some help would be appreciated thanks/

    Here is a little tip…

If you have iPod touch 4g, you should download the torrent version, instead of the IPSW file.

    Hope this helped.

So I got a Iphone 3GS given to me from a friend, We had ATT unlock it by sending them the IMEI number. and the next step was to restore it. However, it made me download IOS6 before I could restore it… I downloaded IOS6, and now apparently Itunes won’t even recognize it because I have an older version of Itunes and and am still running 10.5.8. So now I’m stuck with an Iphone that doesn’t even register in Itunes… what can I do? I was hoping to unlock the thing so I could use a sim in it from another provider… but all these problems are crazy…
