Downgrade iPhone 3GS, 3G 6.15.00 to 05.13.04 with Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 to fix GPS issues, Dev-team Released Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 that supports 6.15.00 downgrade feature for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G. Now you can Download Redsn0w 0.9.14b1.
The new feature will bring two new major features for iPhone 3GS and Phone 3G devices, as downgrading from 6.15.00 to 5.13.04 will fix the famous GPS issue and unlocking your devices using ultrasn0w.
Downgrade iPhone 3GS, 3G 6.15.00 to 05.13.04 with Redsn0w:
Requirements:
Step 1: Connect your iPhone 3GS / 3G to your PC via USB cable.
Step 2: Launch Redsn0w 0.9.14b1, the click on Extras > Select IPSW button then point Redsn0w to the firmware version you have installed (new-bootrom 3GS users can usually skip this step but it doesn’t hurt for them to do it too).
Step 3: Do a controlled shutdown of your iPhone (“slide to power off”). This step is very important to avoid mount problems when the ramdisk is running!
Step 4: Go back, and click “Jailbreak” button, Enable the “Downgrade from iPad baseband” checkbox, disable Cydia if you already have it installed, and click Next then follow the DFU instructions.
Step 5: After the ramdisk gets launched and you see the running Pwnapple, you’ll eventually get to the “Flashing Baseband” step. THIS STEP TAKES A VERY LONG TIME to complete and there won’t be any feedback while its running. Please just let it be for the next 3-8 minutes! When the ramdisk has done its job it will reboot the phone on its own.
Now, you should have 5.13.04 baseband, so who haven’t installed ultrasn0w, go to Cydia and search for ultrasn0w and install it to unlock your iDevice
Note: If you still see 06.15 after the full process, just try again (the downgrade code minimizes risks but false positives are possible)
HEY!!! VErifY!!!! These are not working to unlock iPhone3gs Old Bootrom!!! i tried and i got my BB but not unlock! i have to restore it because i updated de BB to Ipad and wont work with Ultrasnow… -_-

When i go to extras> select ipsw then should i select ipsw with no basband or with baseband
Not working for me either :/ I’m screwed out of a phone until this works. I’m using an iPhone 3GS old bootrom 5.0.1, ran the downgrade twice, still stuck on 6.15.00 and Ultrasn0w wont even pick up mt T-Mobile SIM
for that you can update to 5.1.1 and use ultrasn0w fixer 5.1.1 just add the source http://repo.iparelhos.com
first at the fixer then use ultrasn0w 1.2.5 instead of 1.2.7 you can find that by adding this source http://sinfuliphonerepo.com hope this helps you

I’m unable to unlock my carrier after the successful BB downgrade from 6.15.00 to 05.13.04, jailbroken iOS 5.1.1. Remove & reinstall of ultrasn0w does not help, still stuck at “No Service” & carrier is 12.0. Please help find a solution!
I have a wee issue – eventually got the procedure to run, ran ultrasn0w fix 5.1.1 and then ultrasn0w… Now have an issue wherein I have no carrier option under settings – anybody any idea how to fix this?

This does work followed to the “T” on a new baseband 3GS. Just reinstall mobile substrate and ultrasn0w afterwards to get service again
iOS 5.1.1 3gs new bootrom. Doesnt want to downgrade. jailbreak process completes and the pineapple comes up for a good 5 mintues then it completes. Restarts go to setting<general<about see that its still 6.15.00 BB TinyUmb saying the same. So I tried reflashing my 6.15.00 BB then flashing again to 5.13.04 with no luck. manufacture date is 04/10 so it should be able to work with 6.15.00
