hi i have had so much trouble with this, but long story short i have finally got it but now my ipad wont connect woth the computer my cord is fine i can use it to charge with wall charger i have checked the drivers there is no driver for apple i updated all usb drivers still not working help pls i want to put my music back on it

I know it’s probably a stupid question and I SHOULD know this already, but my iPhone 4s is already jailbroken on 5.0.1. What steps do I take to update a jailbroken version of 5.1.1 without losing any apps or their data?

if u already have a jb device then y would u want to jb again u cant lose anything if u backup the device before u ugrade to 5.1.1 then jb again and then just use the data u have backed up already and u should still have everything u had
DO NOT USE APPLE UPDATE ON YOUR 4S IF YOU HAVE UNLOCK BY JAILBREAK IT WILL UPDATE YOUR BASE-BAND AND YOU CANNOT UNLOCK.
If you have unlock on your jailbreak please update your Ios with an Custom Firmware. no BB
When i open absinthe and plug my phone in its detects it as an iphone 3,3 on 5.1.1 but…. i am using an iphone 4… is there anyway to fix this?

I tried it twice and it didn’t work on Windows 8. It crashes on the second step. It says unplug and replug to jailbreak. Once you do that it tries to recover the files from last jailbreak then says unplug replug again. After all that it just repeats recovering files unplug replug just to recover files again. Typing thing in a rush, hope it makes sense and useful.
Mine is Iphone 4, 5.1 ( and not 5.1.1). Can i still use this?

I have jailbroken my Ipad 3 but the free apps i previously downloaded from apple store crashes everytime i try to open them. However, the rest works fine. Is anyone having the same problem. Pls Help
I have been following a guide and think I have run into a problem. I have synced my iPhone and done a back up on iTunes… I then selected “erase all content and settings” on the iPhone (as the guide said this will make the Jailbreak faster) HOWEVER, my iPhone has had the little spinning loading circle for the last 16 hours!!!
I knew it would take a few hours, but 16hours is ridiculous!
Is this a problem or is it normal? Should I hard rest the phone or let it continue?

i would try a hardrest but use itunes to do a complete restore tho not the device

Fuck, guys, 2.0.4 still not working. iPhone 4S does not reboots in process of jailbreaking. After manual reboot “Error connecting to lockdown”. Four versions and still no fix? Why???
i have the same problem with an ipad2 3g, it doesn’t reboot during absinthe JB, and same error after manual reboot “lockdown error -5″.
but my iphone 4s worked great at first try, i have the problem only with ipad 2

I downloaded Windows version and run it under Windows 7 in VMware — it worked! That means that Mac jailbreak version is buggy. Strange, isn’t it?
Guy’s Can some one answer me Can I absithe even if I don’t have internet connection on my laptop but I do have the absithe file on my computer ready for JB I’m not sure if I can use it even if there is no internet connection.

I have got one suggestion for your weblog. It looks like at this time there are a number of cascading stylesheet problems while opening a number of webpages in google chrome and opera. It is functioning okay in internet explorer. Possibly you can double check this.

After you use this unlock with my ipod4g, I use Cydia after he FileSystem do that process, he resumed, and I was no native app. none at all, did not understand why, and I had to do the restore by itunes. Please check this!

Just did the jailbreak and restored my phone from iTunes. Cydia was there and I clicked on it, and it did it’s thing but then it disappeared along with everything on my phone. (iPhone 4s 5.1.1) There are not any icons in the bottom taskbar either, I have tried rebooting it also. Any suggestions? I basically have a useless piece of scrap right now.
tries to restore it at itunes, my ipod did the same thing, and I had to restore it at itunes. he still the league, right? if so, just restore it he will return to normal, like leaving the store.

So I plug my iphone 4s into my pc but Absinthe is still asking me to plug in your idevice to begin. And another is I cannot download itunes I’m stuck at Publishing Product information! WHY!!!!
You need to unplug and replug. Did the same to me and it worked!
