Fix Siri Stuck Problems – Not Working After 5.1.1 Jailbreak
How to Fix Siri Stuck Problems – Not Working After 5.1.1 Jailbreak iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS – iPad 2, 1 – iPod Touch. like [ Siri Not working - Stuck on Apple logo - Device can't Reboot ].
We have received many comments from our readers regarding the disability of SIRI on a jailbroken 5.1.1 iPhone 4S users rumored that Apple blocks Siri on the jailbroken devices also many iPhone 4S users said that Siri worked perfectly when it was jailbroken on iOS 5.0.1
Fix Siri Stuck Problems – Not Working After 5.1.1 Jailbreak :
Step 1: Try to reboot your device, then try to use Siri if Siri still not working move to Step 2.
Step 2: Try to put your device in Safe Mode – this way will disable all tweaks. so you can easily Determine the issue.
To put your device in Safe Mode use the “Power” button in SBSettings as you see on the screen below.
For Who don’t know how to disable all tweaks, if you have SBSettings installed, you can tap the “More” button then search for “Mobile Substrate Add-ons” and disable some of your tweaks so that you can isolate the tweak which is causing the problem.
Step 3: Try booting with Substrate disabled (hold the “up” volume button while booting) and see if things work. If things seem fine, you can also suspect that a tweak is causing the problem. Reboot again to go back into normal mode.
For A4 Devices which installed Alternative Siri Apps like [SiriPort - Spite] and found problems Like :
- Stuck on Apple Logo
- Black Screen and Couldn’t Boot
To avoid Restoring your Device and you only want to make the device booting to only Remove these problems by Uninstalling Spite / SiriPort.
Here is what you shall do :
- Hold [ Power button + Home Button ] Until the Device Shut Down.
- Now Release the [Home button only ] and hold the Power button for 3 Sec until
- the Device Starting to boot again.
- Now Release [ Power button ] and Hold [ Home Button] only.
- Still holding the Home button only until the Device booting without errors.
now you can Go to Cydia and Removing [ SiriPort or Spite ] and your device will be OK.

Mine isnt freezing my A4 iphone4 but i have been getting nothing but ‘I’m really sorry i cant help you right now, please try again later….’ any suggestions…
hey i have a problem i was downloading siri off cydia and when it was rebooting i turned it on and unlocked it and the screen was in the corner like 1/4 of the screen was showing like the whole screen just went in to the corner everything else around it is black? what do i do?
i had the same prob go into safe mode and click (when you are in safe mode and you have unlocked your device) click the restart and it should fix for that time
This really did work. I said “hi” and siri gave me the “i’m sorry” answer. I then asked “2+2″ and it said another “i’m sorry” response, i then asked “what’s the weather like”, siri gave me another “i’m sorry” answer. I then said hi one more time and siri said hello. It has worked like a dream ever since!!!!!! I LOVE it!!!!!!!!
Hi I have the same problem like yours Jon I tried everything but I couldn’t fixit
PLEASE HELP!! AFTER I REMOVED SIRIPORT MY IPOD TOUCH IS STUCK ON APPLE LOGO! I TRIED FOLLOWING THE STEPS BUT IM STILL STUCK! PLEASE HELP ME! I DONT WANT TO LOSE ALL OF MY APPS THERE!
Follow the first three instructions above, then in the fourth point, dont hold the home button, hold the volume up button, it should then boot successfully and you should proceed to unistall the tweak.
Dude, I removed SiriPort from my iPod Touch. The problem is when I restarted springboard, my iPod Touch is stuck on the apple logo. Any other solutions? Thanks!
I suggest to press and hold both power and home button until your device is not booted, but don;t connect with your PC.
that doesnt do anything though, it just makes it go in and out of dfu mode. The only way you could make your device work again is restoring it.
you’ll have to restore it that happened to me
Dude, i tried all of that, it is STILL STUCK, it wont reboot, i tried the volume up, the home button, but nothing. Im on an ipod touch 4g.
I restored it as well, and nothing happened.
you need to connect your ipod to your computer (itunes) in order to restore.
*Connect your ipod to computer first.
* Hold the power and home button together to turn your ipod off.
* Now Press the power button and keep it pressed for three seconds and then press the home button while keeping the power button pressed. after 10 seconds release the power button but keep the home button pressed until itunes detect your ipod in recovery mode.
* once itunes detects your ipod in recovery mode your device will go dark and that’s normal. It should go dark otherwise you have to repeat the process again. itunes will allow you to restore your ipod and you can/may re-jailbreak it later.
Hope this helps
i have a pass word on it it says to enter pass word but it is still on the apple logo stuck help me
I think I know how to fix it, First install redsn0w 0.9.15b3, Second go to Extars> Just boot, Third click next on the corresponding message and enter DFU mode using the steps redsn0w provides, and last it should do a few things with the iPod and boot the iPod as normal.
P.S. This method doesn’t delete any apps or data on the iPod, just boots it like a normal boot
I simply want to tell you that I’m new to blogs and seriously loved this web site. Probably I’m likely to bookmark your blog post . You certainly come with awesome stories. Thanks for sharing your webpage.
One thing is that when you are searching for a education loan you may find that you’ll want a cosigner. There are many circumstances where this is correct because you will find that you do not use a past history of credit so the lender will require that you’ve got someone cosign the credit for you. Thanks for your post.
My Siri is acting pretty weird,i can’t find the problem though. WHen i open Siri everything works fine but then, when i try to say something it just gives 2 low bleepes and does nothing. The button is showing when i tough though. ( i mean it gives the turning circle when i though) but only when i hold it. Booting with substrate disabled lets Siri work again, i cant’t findthe tweak that is causing all this. Anyone some advice up here?
Have you thought about adding some differing opinions to your article? I think it will really enhance everyones understanding.
I was just searching for this information for some time. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your website. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.

Well that was a waste of time, iPhone 4 GSM, 5.1.1 with absinthe.
Installed siriport fine from the repo, respringed, installed cert, respringed. Siri wouldnt stay on, so rebooted. Then got stuck at apple logo for 3 hrs.
Tried booting with redsn0w, and a few things with tiny umbrella. Nothing worked.
Wouldn’t restore on laptop with iTunes. Errors 1601, 1602 and 21.
Thought my phone was gone for sure, but i decided to use my pc and downloaded ipsw and restored.
Seems to be restoring ok, not gonna bother installing siriport again!

Try running the battery dead, always works for me. If it is tethered, then either:
a. Redo the “Just Boot”
b.Burry it
I’m having the same problem. I deleted siri because it didn’t work and now my phone will only start in safe mode. Will the problem be fixed if I redownload that?
At “Dictation” screen, it shows a message saying “When you tap the microphone button on the keyboard, what you say will be converted to text. Dictation works with any app with a keyboard.” And I can’t click “Next”. I tried to boot, put it in DFU mode, etc. but of no use! My ipod touch is running on IOS 5.1.1 and I tried to Restore it & upgrade it to IOS 6 but iTunes is showing an error! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
