Downgrade iOS 6 To iOS 5.1.1 On iPhone 4S Status - Many questions on our facebook fan page regarding the way to downgrade iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 4S and iPad 3 in order to enjoy the untethered jailbreak ? Also if it is available to downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 without Saved SHSH blobs or not ?
You have to know Guys that there is no way to downgrade A5 devices so if you have updated to iOS 6.x you are stuck there without a jailbreak.
Here’s Dev Team Release Note:
A few months back we released a redsn0w feature that lets you downgrade A5+ devices from 5.1.1 to anything lower (if you had saved blobs). Unfortunately once the 5.1.1 window closes, redsn0w’s 5.x downgrade feature will no longer work. Most A5+ users will not be able to downgrade. So if you’re an A5+ owner up at 6.0 when the 5.1.1 window closes, you’ll be stuck there without a jailbreak for now.
A4 users (iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS ) can only downgrade there devices using our tutorial posted here not A5 users.
Note: A4 users will not be able to downgrade there devices until they have saved SHSH blobs.
i did downgrade iPad 2 3gs from IOS 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 successfully. i had SHSH saved on cydia. redsn0w can do it.

Well considering they keep sending THE SAME FUCKING “STATUS” tweets and message to people, it’s easy to be confused into thinking there is an update, when there really is not. So your both idiots for fuckin with him for thinking something changed. I can post like 5 pictures of the “iOS 6.0 jailbreak status” being messaged to my phone. It’s very misleading…
The way i see it, if these guys are “idiots” then get your ass out there and get a resolution for the issue. If you don’t know how to do it…then keep your cocksucker closed and be grateful you have someone doing the work, that knows what they are doing. i downgraded my iphone 3gs and iphone 4 from ios 6.0.1 to ios 5.1.1 without SHSH blob saved
how did you do it??
First, you use tinyumbrella to get the shsh blob saved on your cydia if you not saved it in the past( but this only work if you have jailbreak in ios 5.1.1 in the past). Second, use redsn0w to restore the iphone
u can check some video in online as well as i said ^^ sorry for my bad english ( and i had downgraded for my iphone 4 and ipad 2 successful )
I know it says “status”, but that is still misleading. Something that really bugs me is hen the new iDevice comes out, they focus on trying to jailbreak that, not the older iPhones. I am currently stuck with a iOS 6.1 iPhone 4S and I am sick of it. Please try and jailbreak the iPhone 4S ASAP!!!!!!
You want to make sure & read this site before you do any upgrades because it does suck when your not jailbroken. I had to learn this the hard way too. They are working on the A5 & A6 but we really have no idea how much work goes into aking these jailbreaks. Without the hackers we would be like the rest of the sheep. So watch what you eat.
It was possible for me to downgrade 6.0 beta 4 back to 5.1.1 . Has anyone else done this?
if you have a A4 device or lower you can. Yes I have gone from 6.0.1 down to 5.1.1 & then down to 4.2.1 on my iphone 4 & my ipod touch 4th Gen. SHSH blobs required (even had a sam unlock work perfectly thru all of the downgrades & I don’t have the APticket or my SHSH blobs saved locally but they were able to pull all of this info & put my phone into working condition for all of these previous firmwares.) 2 Big thumbs up to the jailbreak community.
i enjoy my a5 with my jb 5.1.1..i very carefully not update to ios6 it nothing good …smile

So i have jailbroken my iphone 4S 3 or 4 times but the 5 time was when ios 6 just cam out and i accadently click to uninstall the one of the cydia inports to run the idevice and cydia and then it stop loading, ok so you get the point

There is a way you can sort out Sphone probs tho ,,ok ok ill tell you what you gotta do so listen very careful,heres what you do ok ;; first you have to turn your Sphone of the place in a dry plastic bag,then when you have done that go to the nearest phone shop and sell that peace of shite.problem solved ,

Plz plz hackers, redsn0w, absinthe etc plzzz release a jailbreak for iPhone 4S ios 6.0.1 plzz becoz i read somewhere dat redsn0w has released a untethered jailbreak for iphone 4s ios 6.0.1 in their 0.9.18b version n very happily i upgraded to ios 6.0.1 n den i came to noe such version doesnt exist n da latest version is 0.9.15 so im very sad n i really miss cydia tweaks a lot !!
And btw everyone i also read in a lot of blogs that a jailbreak for iPhone 4S n 5 ios 6 has actually been done as in the hackers have done it but they’re waiting for Apple to release ios 6.1 so that any new exploit that Apple will cover in that upgrade can also be hacked and then finally they will release the jailbreak n its quite possible that 6.1 can be released anytime soon becoz 6.1 beta 4 has already been released to developers n a lot of testing has been done on it compared to previous betas so a Good News for u all

I have am iPhone 4s in iOS 5.1.1 and jailbroken .. Normally in cydia there is availble shsh to save .. In my cydia there is only 6.1 and 6.1.2 and no shsh for 5.1.1 is there any problem In cydia or not …. If it is why ? Please expain guys ot will be really helpful
