Fix No Reboot or Stuck on Waiting for Reboot ? Also If you are using Absinthe 2.0 try to Download Absinthe 2.0.1 to fix the problem with your jailbreak .
Try Unplugging the Device from the USB and try Manual Reboot it and it will be fixed.

I had the same problem.. I tried it a bunch of times and the only thing that worked was running absinthe from a different computer even though I jail broke my 4S fine using this one.

this will have to be the most irritating jailbreak i have ever done i have followed your steps over over again plug my iphone 4s follow the jailbreak method then when it comes up to reboot time nothing happens so i unplugged it and did it manually still nothing im so over this big time

Try windows with Absinthe 2.0.4. It’s the only thing that worked for me.
If I remove the USB plug & reboot I still have no JB. Help

The manual reboot did not work. And now when I try the jailbreak tool again I now get an error “lockdown error-3″ I have tried several times.. Usually I end up with error 5 and I have to reset all. I sure hope that after all this done I’ll be able to restore my iPad from the backup.
I spent 3 hours, and no success UNTIL i changed the computer. I was originally jail breaking in a macbook white from 2006, decided to give a chance to my wife’s 2012 macbook pro, and jailbroke in the first attempt.

I’ve followed the jailbreak procedure (reste then jailbreak then restore). Everything was ok when I tried to install blacksnow, I’m not sure it was suitable for 4s but I tried. Since the insallation the iphone blocked and it restarded. Now it restart block on the apple logo then continue with the loading logo that is also blocked and then restart.
When I launch absinthe it said now Passcode is set.
How can I proceed ?

Successful jailbreak but I wanted Siri on my iPad 3,
so I installed req’d AssistantServer + Spire (Spite) but now iPad will not boot up.
I’m stuck at Apple Logo forever. (eventually screen goes black & cycle repeats in endless boot loop)
Any help will be immensely appreciated to get past the Apple logo boot screen.
Neither iTunes nor Absinthe will recognize an unbooted iPad and just the act of plugging in the USB dock connector causes the iPad to boot in this frozen state.

I had the “waiting for reboot” issue while using Absinthe 2.0.4, both on 9B206 and on 9B208. Tried 2.0.2 on both, and again the jailbreak hanged. After waiting for so long, I tried manual reboot like everybody, and got the “lockdownd error – aborting” like everybody. I also had to do the whole “erase all content and settings” again and again before retrying absinthe, or else I’d get error 5.
The solution is so stupid, it hurts. Just “erase all content and settings” once again to be on the safe side, then download the Windows version of Absinthe 2.0.4 and run the jailbreak in any real Windows environment. (I tried it in my virtual machine and it didn’t work.) At least for me it did the job perfectly.

basically on my ipod touch 4g i installed something from cydia and it said to reboot,so i did,then it started up and got stuck on the apple logo,so i tried to reboot it a couple of times but it kept staying on the apple logo,then i tried it again and it finally got off the apple logo and came to a black screen with the spinning circle thing in the middle and then it stopped and froze,then it came to sliding screen(it looked all messed up),then it just restarted. and went back to apple logo and stayed stuck,and it wont connect to itunes.

I upgraded my ipad 1 to ios 5.1.1 then downloaded absinthe 2.0.4 for windows, but everytime the process up to sending inital jailbreak data, it stucks i have to wait for 20 minutes then it came with a message absinthe 2.0.4 has stopped working , close program. Can somebody please help me?.
I’m running on windows xp and i already follows the instruction as backing up restore to previous backup and running the program as administrator.
You don’t have to unplugged your iDevice just reboot it and that’s it
the repeat u til you get lucky is terrible advice. There is some bug that make absinthe consistently not work. I have 100% failure with A5 devices when run normally.
By launching the correct sub-program from inside the program package wih terminal it works first time every time. Search absinthe mountain lion for directions.
Ipad 2 (version 5.1.1) wifi will not manually reboot after jailbroken with absinthe 2.0.4.

I jailbroke my ipad 2 (5.1.1) with absinthe. Then immediately i restored my backed up data. Automatically the ipad restarted and is stuck in the apple logo/loading bar screen. I jailbroke my iphone 4 for the first time with absinthe a month ago and after a week it got stuck in recovery mode, black screen apple logo, tried all the methods i could to get out of it but in the end i had to restore the iphone on my sisters laptop as it kept coming up error on my pc through itunes,I jailbroke it again and restored from my backup after a week the same thing happened again. I have now restored it a done a jailbreak through redsnow, 3 weeks down and it is still working well. So there is def problems with absinthe.

this sucks, I got a brand new iPad 2 WiFi for my birthday, and I put absinthe on it, well after having two f**cking days of fun, i come home from school and start it up, well it goes to the pass code screen, then turns to the circular loading screen, then back again and keeps going, i don’t know what to do, I don’t want to bring it to the apple store or anything because my warranty will be voided, someone please help me.
