How To Fix absinthe.exe has stopped working – iF you are trying to jailbreak your device on iOS 5.1.1 (9B206) using absinthe, but every time, when you reach to the middle of the jailbreak an error message appears “absinthe.exe has stopped working” so how to fix “absinthe.exe has stopped working”
Method 1:
To fix this issue so you have to make sure that you are running that latest version of Absinthe (Absinthe 2.0.4) so you can use our link posted here its updated to the latest Absinthe jailbreaking too.
Method 2:
Also you have to know that this error is depending on your windows not the Absinthe Jailbreak program just try another PC.

If the error still appears so its better to try Redsnow jailbreaking tool form our link posted here

Try to right Click on Absinthe program and Run As Administrator like above Pic

The only certain way to avoid this error is to reset the iPad first, so that it is empty before the jailbreak. Back up first, then go to settings and reset the iPad then jailbreak. Most fails are because there is too much on the iPad and the jailbreak times out.
Guys, I found this site after googling for hours when I had the same issue. It worked first time and perfectly for me by syncing with itunes but removing music. I still have over 400 songs which are on playlists but the ones which arent have been removed. This is just temp as I placed them back on once I had cydia.
I had the same problem and i i tried EVERYTHING

Following are some of the things I did in order to avoid:
Look into your hosts file (Very very important, free up apple entries and the 127.0.0.0 etc entry), very much important when downgrading / upgrading the basebands
Run it as administrator
Make sure that you run it at XP compatibility mode
and make sure your system has at least XP SP-2 if you are on XP
