Well, the reason I came across this thread is because i DID unlock my 4.12.01 BB BUT i get no service…
At first i had to contact one of the customer representatives for help and they asked me if i had previously used ULTRSN0W and i said no since i knew ULTRSN0W couldnt unlock the 4.12.01 bb…
But what i remembered later on during the day was that i used the ultrasn0w custom firmware.

my iphone 4g was updated to 5.1.1 bb 04.12.01, the problem is it was bought in japan and i can’t use it here in the philippines since it is locked to softbank. now i cant use my iphone anymore i have no idea how to fix it
Hey, I’m from PH too, I have my iphone bought from Japan also I’m using iphone 4S, maybe there’s a way to fix your problem just visit a near by tech shop. and stick with ios 5.0.1

My iPhone 4 is model MC318LL which non-lock replacement phone from Hong Kong carrier. That are no service after updated to iSO 5.1.1 with 04.12.01, but carrier have no idea what happen of my drive….. Sigh, and they keep said my drive haven’t locked and try to cost me for replacement only. Anyone have some problem? I just wanna my drive back…. Please help!
