How To Change The Color Of Banner Notifications For Each App - It is amazing to see the number of things developers can do with iOS when it is freed from the Apple restrictions. iOS has been getting a lot boring and a lot less innovating these days but luckily, Cydia can customize your iPhone so much that you might not feel the need for an open Android-like OS. Thanks to a new Cydia Tweak, you can now even set colors of banner notifications on a per-app basis.
FlagPaint is a new Cydia tweak that looks to do something different from the tonnes of tweaks available in Cydia. You may find a lot of tweaks that can customize the color of your iPhone’s Notification Centre but this new app gives you the capability to change the color of the Banner Notifications on a per-app basis in a very innovative way. What it does is that FlagPaint chooses the color of the Banner in accordance with the color of the app icon. Take the messaging app for iOS: It has a green icon so the notification banner will appear in a nice green color.
In addition to that, you can also tweak things like,
- Removal of app icon from the banner
- Making the text appear in center
- Changing the fade in parameters
FlagPaint is available in Cydia’s BigBoss repo for a mere $0.99. Overall, it is a gorgeous package and all for just a buck. Would we recommend it? A big YES, and for that price, it is simply an awesome deal.
