Sometimes Autocorrect is very useful because you don’t need to write the complete spellings of the words, simply press “Space” after seeing the suggestion and it will automatically write the word.
Moreover, Autocorrect will automatically correct the spellings of different word. But sometimes it becomes really annoying due to its learning features. Whenever you write a wrong word, but don’t let the “autocorrect” to correct it. It will automatically save it to the dictionary of iPhone and will also add it in word suggestions. So, whenever, you will write first two letters, it will show the wrong word instead of the correct one. - Restore from a recent backup from iTunes:
If your iPhone is backed up to iTunes, than you have an easy solution. Simply restore your iPhone from previous backup and it will remove the newly made mistakes in the dictionary. But this method will not work for iCloud backup or for the people who already restored.
- Reset Keyboard Dictionary:
Resetting Keyboard Dictionary is another solution of this problem, Navigate to the following:
General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictation

Thanks for this tip. But, instead of resetting the whole dictionary, I would like to be able to just edit my spelling mistakes in the auto-correct dictionary. Is there a way to access that dictionary and edit its contents?
