How to Save SHSH Blobs for iOS 6.1 for iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS and iPod Touch 4G and iPad 4, 3, 2 ? SHSH blobs are a signature file which is used against Apple servers to downgrade to previous versions of iOS.

Every time a new version of iOS is released, Notc0m updates the TinyUmbrella to support the latest version of iOS. As we know that Evasi0n is at the verge of releasing, so if you haven’t updated your iDevice to IOS 6, follow this guide to update to the latest version of iOS. After updating to iOS 6.1, follow the tutorial posted below to save the SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1. These SHSH blobs will help you to downgrade to iOS 6.1 incase Apple release the next iOS.

How to Save SHSH Blobs for iOS 6.1 iPhone, iPod, iPad :

Download the latest version of Tiny Umbrella [Click Here].

After downloading the Tiny Umbrella, Run it on your Windows or Mac OS X.

Connect your iDevice with PC using Cable. You can save the SHSH Blobs for any iDevice such as iPhone, iPod Touch , iPad mini and iPad.

After connecting your iDevice, Click on the device in Tiny Umbrella window, it will be located on the upper left hand side.

After selecting the device, click on “Advance tab”

Now, uncheck the following options:

  • Save ALL Available SHSH
  • Request SHSH From Cydia

Click on the “Save SHSH” and Tiny Umbrella will start saving SHSH Blobs for the current iOS 6.1. It will take some time but after successfully saving the SHSH Blobs, you will receive a message saying “SHSH Successfully Saved”

You can locate your SHSH Blobs in the Documents folder and can even save them to your Email for future use.

    On iPhone 4s running 6.1 I had to unclick the “request shsh from cydia” for it to actually work.

    hello please help me, i have download tinyumbrella latest version and run it, but there is not device appear on the top left side. What can i do now? my ipad 4 is 6.0.1 is stucked in recovery mode last night when i was trying to update it to 6.1. it was jailbroken.
