How to Save SHSH blobs Using TinyUmbrella – What is SHSH blob? IOS users can update their devices easily but Apple doesn’t allow downgrading. So, in order to downgrade, SHSH blob is used. It is a signature file which is used against Apple server to fool it. So, that iTunes think that it is connecting with Apple Server but in real it is connecting with Cydia Server which verifies the iOS files, hence, users will be able to downgrade to previous version.
It is highly recommended to save SHSH blobs for every firmware. TinyUmbrella is software which is used to save SHSH blobs for any firmware. Recently, the developer behind TinyUmbrella, notcom has updated it to support iOS 6. You can follow this guide to save SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella.
What you Need?
- Download TinyUmbrella for Windows
- Download TinyUmbrella for Mac
- Java should be installed on your PC.
How to Save SHSH blobs Using TinyUmbrella
Step 1: Download Java and install it on your PC. Download TinyUmbrella from the links given above.
Step 2: Connect your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with PC.
Step 3: Open TinyUmbrella and select your Device from the left side.
Step 4: Now, Click on Advance and Check “Save All Available SHSH”
Step 5: Click on “Save SHSH” upper right corner.
Step 6: Once, you are done! All your SHSH blobs will be shown in the main Tab.
That’s it! It will also save your SHSH locally, so you can use them with Redsn0w or iFaith.

How can I downgrade it if I don’t have a shsh of 5.1.1 ios? She upgraded it on settings so I think she can’t use the restore button on iTunes.

So I have my 5.1 and my 5.1.1 but can’t get either to downgrade after an accidental 6 restore, am I that creek and waiting or is there some one that can clarify for me, get a 1600 1601 1604 errors and a 11 error, any help is appreciated.

Don’t believe TU supports iPhone 5, yet. But you wouldnt be able to downgrade it below iOS 6 anyway, so just hold tight and wait for TU support.

The same case applies to you. Apple isn’t signing 5.1.1 blobs anymore. Once a new iOS is released you have about a 24 hour window to save blobs and after that it can’t be done.

But after restore i get :

I want to downgrade from tethered jailbroken ios 6 to a version of ios 5.1 i downloaded so I know that I must have the shsh blobs for the 5.1 version, I used Tiny umbrella to get those blobs but it gave me a 4.1 version blobs that dont work on 5.1 what should I do please reply me.
