iOS 6.0.1 and iOS 6.1 Release Date – Apple, iPhone 5 is the best thing that has happen to iPhone. May be they were saying that because they had introduced their new mobile operating system aka iOS 6 in that device. Well, the OS has received mixed response from users. Some users are quite happy with the OS update but at the same time, there are many users who are not happy with the latest OS as it is not up to their expectations.
We have received reports suggesting that Apple is already testing iOS 6.0.1 which is basically a maintenance release. This release will fix some of the commonly reported issues in iOS 6. Keyboard in iOS 6 often makes screen flicker and the camera flash often forgets to turn itself off, so these issues will definitely be fixed in this new issue. On the other hand, a comprehensive update will be launched after holidays i.e. iOS 6.1.

In addition, the new software will improve Wi-Fi support, fix cellular data not working in some cases, add a consolidated cellular data switch for iTunes Match, fix a bug that allowed access to Passbook pass details from the lock screen, and also finally fix the bug that caused Exchange meetings to be unexpectedly cancelled for the entire calendar invite group.
There are many things that will be fixed with iOS 6.0.1 as the,
- Wi-Fi support which is not working probably.
- Cellular data issues.
- issues that doesn’t allow you to have access to passbook from lock screen.
- Fix issue with flickering lines appearing on the keyboard on iPhone 5 units.
- Fix issue with camera flash not going off when taking photographs
- Fix issue with exchange meetings being unintentionally cancelled
Though, nothing can be said with surety but looking at threads made by users on different Apple forums, it is clear that Apple is aware of malfunctioning and they must be working to fix the issue as soon as possible. We are also expecting that Apple will introduce the iOS 6.0.1 in few weeks.
