iOS 6.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Getting Closer for iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPad mini /2 / 3 / 4th Generation and iPod touch 4G, 5G - We have already posted that users can Jailbreak their older iDevices such as iPhone 3Gs, 4 and iPod Touch on iOS 6 and iOS 6.0.1 but we have not heard any news about the Jailbreak of newer devices with A5, A5X and A6 [iPhone 4S, 5, iPad 2, 3 and 4, and iPad mini]. And the jailbreak for older devices is only the tethered Jailbreak. Well, the great news is that it seems we are close to the release of the new Jailbreak for new iDevices and obviously it will be an untethered Jailbreak.

Well, this amazing news comes from one of very famous Jailbreak hackers, p0sixninja [aka Joshua Hill] who has found a BootROM exploit for all new iDevices such as iPad2, 3, 4 and iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. Yes, this is totally an exciting news.

I did a semi-tethered jailbreak on my iPhone 4 iOS6.0.1 A5 with sn0wbreeze. Initial boot with iBooty. Then works perfectly untethered. It is a non-activated Verizon iPhone.

If you get sn0wbreeze and ireb from ih8snow.com you can use tinyumbrella to find your 5.1.1 SHSH blobs and use sn0wbreeze to stitch them into a sutom ipsw. Itll be nice to have a jailbreak again until an untethered ios 6 jailbreak is made

You have to wait a few weeks because they didn’t release the jailbreak if you want tell me your email and I will email you when they release the jailbreak or register to the website
Well, it’s possible when you have an old-room 3GS. Download redsnow (just search with google) and connect your 3GS. Redsnow will tell your if it is new or old-room. If it is old-room, just jailbreak your device on iOS 6 (can see it on youtube) and than it will be untethered!

Having failed to save my shsh blobs for my ipad3 for 5.1.1 “long story” makes me sick lol when my ipad got stuck on loading had to upgrade to 6.0.1

hello guys, i have an iphone 4s which is in ios 6.0, MuscleNerd recommends to stay on this firmware. but since, this news shocked me, that there will be an ios 6.0.1 untethered jailbreak for a5 and up devices, am i free or safe to move on ios 6.0.1? because it might be too late if apple releases a new ios 6.1 (i guess), you know, apple closes the signing very quick. though i saved the shsh for 6.0.1, but there is no available tools to stitch a shsh blobs for iphone 4s ios 6.
i need answers because im in hard dilemma of upgrading it to ios 6.0.1 or stay safe at ios 6.0 as MuscleNerd recommends.

yes, they work ios 6, but what? there are a lot of version under this ios 6, there is the 6.0.1, and here is the coming version 6.1.
in terms of exploit patch, from 6.0 to 6.0.1 has a lot of difference. ( i guess that is the priority of apple, to fix vulnerabilities).
so i wonder, where or what version to stay before its too late when the 6.1 is released, surely, apple will immediately close the 6.0.1 signing. (if ever the jailbreak is for 6.0.1).

If you saved your SHSH Blobs, you could re-restore to iOS 5.x. But once you have iOS 6, there’s no way back…
