iOS 6.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Getting Closer for iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPad mini /2 / 3 / 4th Generation and iPod touch 4G, 5G - We have already posted that users can Jailbreak their older iDevices such as iPhone 3Gs, 4 and iPod Touch on iOS 6 and iOS 6.0.1 but we have not heard any news about the Jailbreak of newer devices with A5, A5X and A6 [iPhone 4S, 5, iPad 2, 3 and 4, and iPad mini]. And the jailbreak for older devices is only the tethered Jailbreak. Well, the great news is that it seems we are close to the release of the new Jailbreak for new iDevices and obviously it will be an untethered Jailbreak.

Well, this amazing news comes from one of very famous Jailbreak hackers, p0sixninja [aka Joshua Hill] who has found a BootROM exploit for all new iDevices such as iPad2, 3, 4 and iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. Yes, this is totally an exciting news.

its called downgrade it not all iphone 4 are on ios 6 by default mine was but most of my friends are still on ios 5.1.1 they let me take there signature when i upgraded it for them and i downgraded my ios but my phone had to get restored because of somthing crashing it i downloaded from cydia and it swtched to 6 so i am stuck waiting for a jailbreak again

I love how you are getting so angry. “jailbreaking” a devise isn’t a matter or just plugging it into a computer and letting it do the work, that only comes after developers have jail-broken it the first times and written the appropriate code and commands. Have faith the dev team is working it as we speak just give em time, they are doing this for free after all. Its not like anyone is paying them to crack ios 6.

If an iPad2 user has no SHSH blobs and iOS6 there is currently no way to have an unthered device as you can not downgrade.
