iOS 6 Maps App will show Construction Alerts, Apple announced iOS 6 with more than 200 features, one of the important features was the completely redesigned Maps app. Apple has completely ditch the Google Maps by introducing the Apple 3D Maps application for iOS users. Well, this is not a simple Maps application; it is much more than that.
We have already covered a detailed comparison of Google Maps and Apple Maps and concluded that Apple Maps application were much better than the Google Ones. However, what are the extra features included in the Apple maps application? Turn by Turn Navigation, 3-D Maps and even the safety alerts. Well, we have found something more than that.
Thanks to Appadvice, who has posted another feature of the maps application on Apple iOS. So, if you are from another country or state and don’t know that there is a construction going on the road, the Apple’s own Maps service will let you to know this. So, whenever there will be construction going on your way, it will simply show the construction sign on the “Maps” app and you can save your time by using an alternative route.
Well, the mystery about this “Maps” app doesn’t end here; Apple has also included another amazing “Zoom-in” and “Zoom-out” feature by the help of which you will see the names of the streets fading in and out.
