iPad Mini To Hit Stores Shelves on November 2 - Apple has just announced an event to announce, what is possibly called the iPad Mini. Although nothing about Apple’s event invites for 23^rd October which read “We’ve got a little more to show you” said anything about the iPad Mini, but after what seems like a million leaks and rumors, any tech fan (read Apple fan) will bet all his tech products that Apple will unleash the iPad Mini on 23^rd October. And already we are receiving news of on which date will the iPad Mini hit the shelves.

According to the latest reports, including one by Geeky-Gadgets which has it from a source close to a major US retailer, November 2^nd looks like to be the date on which people should expect the iPad Mini to start retailing. It’s not hard to predict either seeing that the iPhone 5 hit retail shelves on September 21 exactly after 9 days of being unveiled(12^th September) and if you can do the Math, the difference between October 23^rd and November 2^nd is about the same.

There is one and only one thing to consider though, because with this iPad Mini event, Apple is doing everything to complete against the Microsoft Surface as just hour after the pre-orders of Surface tablet went live, Apple started sending invites of it’s October 23^rd event which itself is held just two days before Microsoft’s one. The Surface will be hitting retail on 26^th October and it certainly won’t be to Apple’s taste if the iPad Mini is behind Apple’s rival by any means.
