iPhone 5, 4 and 3Gs Thickness Comparison [images] – As we have posted earlier that the new iPhone will have only 7.6mm thickness, which tells us that it will be 1.73mm thinner as compared to the earlier iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. How it will be much thinner? The improved, smaller dock connector, Nano Sim cards and most important In-cell technology will make the next-gen iPhone much thinner.
Although 1.73 mm doesn’t make a huge difference but still it is noticeable and will make it handier. The most important thing is that early leaks reveal that although iPhone 5 will be thinner as compared to the iPhone 4 but it will be more durable. The durability and quality of the iPhone 5 really matters and this is what we are expecting from Apple to release.
iColorOS has compared the thickness of iPhone 4, 3GS and purported iPhone 5 body and it gives us the crystal clear idea about the comparison of thickness of iPhones. Smartphones are really evolved, if we compare the Apple’s revolutionary iPhone 2G to latest iPhone 4S, we will clearly see that how the fruit company has evolved the iPhone and makes things much better as compared to previous versions.
Now, we are just two weeks away from the iPhone 5 release, and we will see what this amazing smartphone will have on 12th September. But the rumors suggest that it will have double toned back, LTE technology, In-cell technology, larger screen and obviously much needed bigger battery.
