iPhone 5 Prototypes Spotted in Thailand – The journey of iPhone 5 from individual leaked parts to an assembled iPhone didn’t take so long. iPhone 5 parts have been revealing by different blogs since last six months. It all started with the leaked Home button and charging port. Earlier this week, we saw assembled images and then video of the next-gen iPhone 5.
iPhone 5 release date has already been announced and we are just one and half month away from the launch. With every passing day, we see a new leak, rumor or prototypes. We have again found some prototypes of the next-gen iPhone from the MKB Center Mall in Bangkok.
These pictures are very similar to what we have been hearing since last 6 months. These pictures might not be genuine but these images exactly depict the features of the next-gen iPhone. Here’s what 9to5mac posted about these images:
“The pictures seem to confirm what we saw in the video, and after reaching out to the source (who is an ex-staff member from a long time ago) he confirmed that the iPhone is not a working device, but a “nonfunctional replica prototype” and in his own words, “pretty accurate too.”
From these images, it is clear that next-gen iPhone will have a larger display 4.0”, a smaller dock connector, relocated Speaker, relocated Center Face camera, thin due to in-cell technology and the double tone back.

One of the things I loved about the iPhone, as opposed to the competition, was its nice size. Now that they are making it larger I am not sure of it will really “feel” the tight size.

Looks fake. Look at the home button. and the socket where you should plug the usbcable looks a bit loose. and it looks like plain steel. not the usual apple materials.

Also, the Maps application looks the same as iOS5. When Apple had stated they were developing their own map application for iOS6. The odds of a iPhone 5 running iOS5 is very slim. Why put old software on new Hardware? Same effect as having Windows 95 on Alienware laptops.
I ask all the people with some smarts and a brain; why would they make every product and charger even cars around the world incompatible with a new iphone?!! Dont these people want to make money??? Do they just want to have same charger as htc and samsung and expect the market to follow? The thing I love about apple is all the chargers, docks etc are same plug. So even the apple tv add-on wont be usuble with this??? I think they payed people to “leak” this “prototype” to get people excited and talking, unless they are total douche bags that want to be like yeah we rule you and can make you spend as much money as we want.
This is bowl-shit.. nothing but a cheap Chinese device claiming to be iphone 5. Not much time till the announcement people be patient.
