iPhone 5 Video Action Shows the 4.0″ iPhone Screen – Now, we are just two weeks away from the iPhone 5 launch event and we are already getting many new leaks and news about the next-gen iPhone. One of the biggest features which will be introduced in the iPhone 5 is the larger screen. Ever since, analysts and rumors told us about changing the size of the iPhone 5, we have heard about the taller display and not the wider displays. Many rumors even quote the new iPhone 5 display will be 0.5” taller as compared to previous version.

This will tell us that the resolution of the next-gen iPhone 5 will be 1136 X 640 which shows that the width of the display is same as compared to iPhone 4S while the length will be changed from 960 to 1136. Now, what will happen to the iOS apps? How apple will react towards that? Did every developer will need to update their apps? We assume that we will see the “Letter Box” thing in the existing apps for iPhone, which means that sides of the iPhone 5 will be left black while main screen up to iPhone 4 and 4S size will get the app; this is what Apple has used for iPad incompatible iPhone apps.
