  10. TheFroReturns says:

Well, Heres what i did…..i tried fetching my shsh blobs with TinyUmbrella…then my shsh was different so i downloaded the right firmware(older) which matched that of my shsh and i restored the firmware and matched the shsh in Redsnow-newest version.
Then it kept relooping in recovery so i had to restore with itunes then the exploit worked….jailbreak….then just boot.
It booted up and i had cydia.
I ran a few apps on cydia and installed and when an app in cydia rebooted, it had to be “just booted” again.

After running redsnow and trying to “just boot” a 2nd time, the error—”missing plist” arose again.

I tried to reboot with redsnow again, and again, and again….finally it did reboot the right way. possible problem was the way or times i held the buttons when putting it in DFU mode. Good luck to anyone else with the same problem. Try releasing the HOME button at different times with the DFU mode.

Hello, I have an iphone 4 6.0.1. When jailbreaking i waited ‘Please wait…’ like 20 minutes then something more wrote and just rebooted. Then I did Just boot and I am waiting like 20 minutes now but it stuck on pineapple screen. Someone can help?

    • vvvv says:

Hi, Same issue… after waiting 10 min with the ‘Please wait’, it writes some more code, restarts (without the pineapple animation) and turns on… it looks like it just can’t jailbreak it (after i’m restarting the device, everything works fine without the ‘Just Boot’ initiation)… can someone help pls???

      • michelle says:

this is what mine is doing as well!!! No animation and the whole loading the files thing just reboots then i try the just boot teathered and i get the pinapple for like 20 minutes then it reboots again but no cydia and seemingly no jailbreak!! how do we fix this! i really need my phone jailbroken for my messages to work lol!!!

        • sergfo says:

Hey guys I’m having the same problem. I’ve seen the same problem posted on multiple sites, but no solution yet. I’m referring to the “please wait” for at least 5-20 minutes followed by some code and reboot but no pineapple or cydia. I also followed or tried all instructions and combinations of the following:

-use ios6 for the proper device. Mine is iphone 4 att
-run as admin and with win xp service pack 2 compatibility mode(or xp3 says another site)
-tried different usb ports and restarting the computer(shouldn’t matter because I had this Jailbroken on ios6 from this computer without a problem)
PLEASE HELP if you figured it out….

    Can someone help me?
I bought a iphone 3GS locked Bell. I need it unlocked
The guy I bought it off just updated to 6.0 . I tried
To downgrade to 5.1.1 but had no luck because there
was no shsh blobs. Then had to revert back to 4.1 to
unlock it. Then I went to restore via iTunes. Now there
    is 6.0.1 so now I can’t revert to 6.0 because I didn’t
    save the shsh blobs.
Currently I am on 4.1 with baseband 6.15.00.
How can I upgrade firmware and unlock when
I have no saved 5.1.1 or 6.0 shsh blobs saved?
    Could someone please help me

For everyone with the MISSING KEYS.PLIST ERROR
    1. Exit redsn0w and turn off your phone and unplug it
    2. Plug your phone back in and then enter DFU mode without opening redsn0w yet. DFU=(3 sec lock button, 10 sec home and lock button, 15 second just home button).
    3. Once in DFU mode, find redsn0w on your computer, right click on it and take ownership/run as administrator!
    4. Open redsn0w, go to Extras>>Select IPSW>> select the 6.0 IPSW.
    5. Go back, Jailbreak! let it do its thing and install cydia and then once the jailbreak is done and phone booted on, turn off your phone.
    6. Exit redsn0w, unplug your device, plug it back in and put the phone into DFU mode! Open redsn0w!
    7. In redsn0w go to extras>>select IPSW (6.0).

    Hello,
I’ve just downloaded ” iPhone4,1_6.0_10A403_Restore.ipsw ” and ” redsn0w_mac_0-1.9.15b3 ” to jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 on iPhone 4S just like in the video guide. When i select this IPSW, this message appears : “That IPSW is not supported by this version of redsn0w.” What’s the problem?

    Thanks

    • Fatih says:

Read it first, it is just for A4 devices.

      ‘Supported devices

      iPhone 4.
      iPhone 3GS.
      iPod touch 4th generation.’

        • Tmel4198 says:

download 6.0 not 6.0.1, make sure itunes restores your phone to ios 6.0.1, then use redsn0w to select the 6.0 ipsw and jailbreak

    • gee says:

I’ve gotten that error too. Are you using the 6.0 ipsw? Because redsn0w won’t accept the 6.0.1 even though you’re jailbreaking iOS 6.0.1 so you have to use the 6.0 firmware to jailbreak.

  22. panpan says:

Same issue, iphone4 GSM 04.11.08-ICE_2_13, trying with the IOS 6.0.1 firmware (iPhone3,1_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.ipsw) and last version of Redsn0w.

“That IPSW is not supported by this version of redsn0w”

    • Tmel4198 says:

6.0 ipsw you use not 6.0.1, your device will stay 6.0.1 just have to use 6.0 because thats what redsn0w is updated for

Just an addition to any confusion as to why the just boot wont work after a successful jailbreak and lets say you install a tweak which require you to boot like winterboard! You must always go back and select the 6.0 ipsw every time you Just Boot because it will throw that ugly missing keys.plist error at you ,if not that, it just wont successfully just boot unless selected ipsw is 6.0

Oddly, I’m doing everything that’s said re this missing plist and my JB isn’t working.

      I have an iPhone 4 with 6.1. I’m using the iPhone3,1_6.0_10A403_Restore.ipsw with redsn0w 0.9.15b3
