Jailbreak iOS 6.1 beta 3 For A4 Devices Using RedSn0w - Apple has just released its third beta iOS 6.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch for  iOS developers through Apple’s Dev Center, many users have curiosity to taste the iOS 6.1 beta 3 jailbreak, and i think that users will be glad to know that our post will give them the ability to tethered jailbreak their devices on iOS 6.1 beta 3.

Note: You have to keep in mind that your device will have the tethered status and this tutorial is available for Mac and Windows.

Jailbreak Required

• Download iOS  6.1 beta 3 from Apple’s Dev Center.
• Download Redsn0w 0.9.15 beta 3
• Download iOS 6.0 firmware

Step 1: Connect Your device to your PC

Step 2: Open RedSn0w folder after extracting it, and right click on redsn0w file and click “Run as administrator”

Step 3: Click on “Extras” –> “Select IPSW”

Step 4: Choose iOS 6.0 firmware that you have downloaded on the above step

Step 5: Your device should inform you that “The following build was identified”

Step 6: Go back to the main RedSn0w then click “Jailbreak”.

Step 7: Now mark on “install Cydia” as on the screen below, then click “Next” your Redsn0w will start jailbreaking. 

Step 8: Place your device into DFU mode, and the jailbreak should proceed until completion

• Hold down power button and home button both at the same time for 10 seconds
• After the 10 seconds release the power button and still pressing on the home button for another 10 seconds

Step 9: Go back again to the Redsnow menu, and click “Extra” –> ”Select IPSW” choose again  iOS 6.0 firmware again then click “Just boot”

Step 10: Place your device back into DFU mode, and a tethered boot will proceed, Once your iOS device is in DFU mode it will boot into a Jailbroken state.

Congratulations ! Your device is now jailbroken on iOS 6.1 beta 3 firmware
