Next-Gen iPad Coming In March 2013 With Lighter, Thinner Design - Apple’s iPad release schedule received a bump this year when Apple released two iPads in the same year-the 3rd Gen and the 4th Gen one-with a comparatively little gap between the two. Other thing that surprised us that the only upgrade the 4th Gen iPad received from its predecessor was in terms of processor, HD FaceTime camera and a Lightning connector. And it looks like that Apple is going to release another new iPad, the 5th Generation iPad to be specific, in March next year which will be much thinner and lighter than the current-gen one.
Next-Gen iPad Coming In March 2013 With Lighter, Thinner Design
The 3rd Generation iPad was a step backwards from the iPad 2 in terms of weight and thinness and the 4th Gen iPad did nothing about it. If the reports by a Japanese tech blog Macotakara are true thenApple may be looking to fix that in the 5th iteration of its popular iPad.
Here is what they have to say about it,
“However Chinese News ZOL (CBS Interactive) reported next iPad mini in AppleInsider’s article, ACCORDING to my inside source, iPad (5th) May be Released in March, 2,013. Source Told That, design of this NEW iPad Will be Like iPad mini in detail , and be thinner and lightweight.(The expectation comes to have a Small 4mm in height, 17mm in width, depth 2 mm) To Convey a Different article , Production trial of iPad mini (2nd Generation) HAS Been started.LCD display is 7.9 inches , it (326ppi) 2048 x 1536 pixels, it seems that will be equipped with a A6X processor such as iPad (4th generation).”
We hear these kinds of rumors daily so you should take this one with a pinch of salt. Of course Apple has got a lot more vulnerable to leaks these days but you never know what the guys in Cupertino might be ready to give us as we creep into 2013.
