T-Mobile has Started Distributing the Nano Sims for iPhone 5 – The iPhone 5 is soon to be released and T-Mobile has already begun distributing the Nano SIM to its retailers. The Nano SIM is around 40% smaller than the micro SIM. This new design was from Apple and backed up by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute.It was also news that European carriers had begun to stock the new Nano SIMs and were testing them as well with Apple.

A Nano SIM tray was also leaked that was said to be the new tray for the iPhone 5 and both videos and images were shown of the new tray. They were compared with the old ones as well. Apple’s upcoming iPhone will become the first phone to switch to this new standard and the future of Nano SIM looks to be bright.

iFun, a German website got hold of T-Mobile Germany’s new Nano SIM, and they also gave a notice to its retail partners:

“Dear partners,

you will receive today a new generation of SIM cards for the latest generation of smartphones that come in the near future on the market. Sort your SIM card please first not in their cards in hand and give it not out to customers. We will inform you shortly about how to proceed.”
