Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 5.1.1 using the links below:
Step 2: After jailbreaking your device Launch the Cydia application then select “Manage” –> “Sources” then “Add” and Write down the link below:

Step 3: Open the added repo (Step 2) you will find ultrasn0w tap on it and press install then Confirm at the right corner to install ultrasn0w 1.2.7 to unlock iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS.

Problem: Suddenly No Service/Searching
Device Info: iPhone 3GS OLD bootrom 6.15 bb (iPad bb) iOS 5.1 untethered using ultrasn0w 1.2.7
Details: was using my phone normally an suddenly it switched to no service.. So I switched airplane mode on then off after 5 minutes.. It searched but no service..
Tried restore to iOS 5.1 using CFW then install ultrasn0w.. Didn’t work.. Try reflashing iPad bb then install ultrasn0w.. Also didnt work -.- … Any other suggestions guys?
get redsnow and downgrade ipad baseband from 6.15.00 to 05.13.04 works 100% on my 3gs and had same problem like you
Hi, I have followed the guide on the website. Untethered my £GS with iOS 5.11 with Absinthe 2.0.4 and then followed the steps to install the ultrasn0w package through Cydia. My iPhone keeps “searching” for my O2 network. Never had any problems with network coverage Please can you advise me on what to do?

I installed cydia on mmy iphone 3gs. It is 5.1.1(9b206) with a modem firmware of 05.16.05. I am wanting to unlock my phone. What do I do now?
I do have the same problems guys. I’ve tried several things such as ultrasn0w 1.2.7, Ultrasn0w fixer, Sam, etc… Nothing worked…. Now I am just hoping that I have not broken my iphone signal system: I have an iphone 3GS 5.1.1 on Baseband 05.16.05 and with Serial Number: 87951RFU3NR . So if you ever find a solution please sharing me.

simple process just go to cydia
1. search for Mobile substrate and reinstall the same
2. then search for Ultrasn0w and reinstall again but the most important step once u reinstall dont click on restart sprinboard wait for network to do its searching if lucky you should get the network.
then restart the springboard and enjoy using your phone.

it will work on iphone 4 also i want to use iphone4 in india but when i insert sim in iphone it is say that NO SERVICE PLZZ HELP MEEE..

I seen this happen before. It appears it didnt execute the jailbreak correctly. You need to restore iOS with iTunes and jailbreak again. I used Absinthe, works great. Just press the jailbreak button and it does everything for you.

i have done downgradin of Base band with ipad base band with new ultrasn0w_0.9.15b3. But he dosen’t downgrade the baseband its remaing the same 06.15.00 it’s work for all network. 3gs (fw 5.1.1) (base band 06.15.00) thx

I have iPhone4 running iOS 5.1.1, BaseBand 04.12.01
My BB does not appear on the list of supported basebands.
So does this mean it ONLY supports this exact BB version or does it mean it will support all baseband older and up to 04.26.08? Basically I want to ask would it help me unlock my iPhone4 which is has 04.12.01 BB???
