Hi. I have Jailbroken my iPhone 4 using Absinthe 2.0, I got it from www. redsn0w-download. com. I got 5.1.1 iOS and 4.12.01 baseband and it was successful even I accidentally unplugged the cord to my pc. Next thing that I want to try is unlock my phone, is it possible? Also what will happen if I upgrade my iPhone’s iOS in the future?

  5. jaymaster103 says:

It’s good that u tried Redsn0w but most of us used Absinthe 2.0.4, it never gives problems its fast and you don’t need to put your iPhone in DFU mode. Download it from this website, plug your iPhone and click jailbreak.:)

I tried both the DFU mode and non DFU mode. I tried the non DFU mode at least 5 times if not more and i could NEVER get it to work but i tried the DFU mode once and it worked right away. I would rather put my device in DFU mode and it actually work the not having to put it in DFU mode and it not working. Thanks!

Do you have to jailbreak on a completely new iPhone? My phone has apps/music/pictures on it and when I tried another method (absinth) it dindnt work and deleted my pictures, contacts and messed up some music. I have seen some other places that mention you need to restore, jailbreak, then restore from a backup to get all your stuff back on but that doesn’t seem right. Wouldn’t the backup delete Cydia and undo the jailbreak?

Thanks in advance, I’m thinking about giving the ambove method a shot

  23. vhs says:

    1. you have to backup & restore from itunes factory firmware.
    2. try redsnow again, this time it will work, cydia icon will appear, all will be well.

I just want to mention I am just newbie to blogging and actually enjoyed your web blog. Most likely I’m likely to bookmark your site . You absolutely have outstanding posts. Appreciate it for sharing with us your website.

  35. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

  36. Hello there! I know this is kinda off topic but I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring a blog post or vice-versa? My website covers a lot of the same topics as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other. If you happen to be interested feel free to shoot me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you! Great blog by the way!

  37. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  38. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your blog when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?

  39. Hey there, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, awesome blog!

  40. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But just imagine if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this blog could undeniably be one of the greatest in its field. Great blog!

  41. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.

  42. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any solutions to help protect against content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

  43. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

  44. Please let me know if you’re looking for a article author for your blog. You have some really great posts and I feel I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love to write some content for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please send me an email if interested. Thank you!

  45. Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any tips? Thank you!

  46. Hello this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

  47. Hey I am so grateful I found your webpage, I really found you by error, while I was looking on Google for something else, Regardless I am here now and would just like to say thanks for a marvelous post and a all round exciting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to go through it all at the minute but I have book-marked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a great deal more, Please do keep up the fantastic work.

  48. Very good website you have here but I was curious if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics discussed in this article? I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get opinions from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Appreciate it!
