I have an iPhone 4S running 5.1x. Can up upgrade to 6.1.2 so I can still jailbreak it?

  2. Akin says:

Do you have SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.2?
If you don’t have it, you can’t update to 6.1.2 since its not the latest OS now.

6.1.3 is the latest and that is what you can restore to.

If you love your untethered jailbreak, please remain at 5.1.1 until another untethered jailbreak is released for iOS 7

  3. Leart says:

Downgrade, upgrade to the non latest version are not possible with iphone 4s, just older devices can do it.
No you cant, just to install the latest version of ios aviable, 6.1.3
If your ios is ok, i dont se any reason to go to ios 6 thats sux
Stay in ios 5, is better

  4. Matt says:

I do. I have two 4s iPhones. One has 6.1.2 and one had 5.1x. I want to upgrade the second to 6.1.2. Both are Verizon. Essentially the exact same phone

  5. Matt says:

I agree, I did like 5 better it seemed more stable but there are apps and themes that are not available on 5 so I wanted to update.

  6. Akin says:

It will be wise to remain on iOS 5.1.1. Once you move to 6.1.3 on iPhone 4S, you won’t be able to jailbreak, downgrade nor update to a non – latest firmware
