What’s New in iOS 6 beta 3 – Features – Apple introduced world’s most advanced Mobile OS, iOS 6, one month ago. IOS 6 has more than 200 different features. Apple released iOS 6 beta 1 on the same day of announcement. However, after three weeks of releasing iOS 6 beta 2, Apple has released the beta 3. If you are a developer then you can download the iOS beta 3 from Apple’s developer website.
What’s New in iOS 6 beta 3 – Features ?
There is nothing special in this version; there are only minor changes which are explained below.
- Settings for Maps:
Apple has included the settings for Maps in the Settings.app. Users can change the distance (Units), Labels (Language) and the size of the label. Turn by turn Navigation can also be controlled by the users.
- Icons of Bookmarks, Reading List and History:
iOS 6 beta 3 has also brought some minor changes in the Safari Web browser. In previous version, worded labels were used for bookmarks, reading list and history. Now, these words have been replaced by icons.
- Maps App is Updated:
In this release, Maps app is updated from beta 2 to beta 3.Satellite image is also working for many users.
- Sync of Reading list from Safari:
In iOS 6, an extra icon of reading list is shown In the top bar just near the address bar which shows the sync of Reading list to iCloud.
- Support for iCloud.com:
Users can now have Email address of #iCloud.com instead of @me.com.
- Face Time buttons:
Answer and Decline buttons are back in this release.
